OMG, yes, the random date! ugh. I was like WHO IS THIS GUY I’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE AND WHY IS ELIZABETH AGREEING TO THIS. Of course Carson’s sassy gay friend moment was pretty lulzy.

I just took it as another way they were betraying Elizabeth’s character before kicking Torri to the curb. I really don’t think she would have agreed to a date with some random guy that technically works for her, especially when he was so smarmy. I’ve wanted to write a fic where she decides to ditch him and tricks John into a date instead. If she’s going to date someone who works for her, it should be her second-in-command!

(and I got all sorts of creepy vibes from Mike. he just seemed scummy to me.)
